ISO: Spider and the Fly instrumentals
Posted by: exilestones ()

I'm looking for Spider and the Fly instrumentals.

According to info from dbboots.com there may be two Spider and the Fly instrumentals (or one with different editing?).

Any recommendations or downloads of The Spider and the Fly instrumentals are appreciated. Thank you

I did download a Spider and the Fly instrumental from 1964-1969 Ultra Rare Trax Vol 09 (TGP-CD-132) but the sound could be a lot better. I'm looking for an upgrade!

I'm not sure, if this is a real outtake or something like an isolated track and it is the only version i ever heard. Anyway here is the track that I found on "The Legend Of Emerald Complete Studio Sessions":

The instrumental that is 2:43 is an outfake. If you cleverly edit out the parts with the lyrics you can make the same instrumental from the LP version.

old thread about it

The other versions from the '60's are from Shindig! and Saturday Club.

Someone has recently been removing vocals from tracks, so beware of those as well - not true instrumentals.

Yes, Todd S, it's too bad. It makes me sad. I'd really love to have isolated backing track to spider and the fly.

I wasn't looking for The Spider and the Fly instrumentals back then. My friends, Dan, Fred and I are working on a Blues project to share with everyone and it's a shame we don't have your contribution. We'd really appreciate it.

I wish I had every backing track to every Rolling Stones Blues song! I'm doing an interview segment on this Blues project and plan to overdub music behind the interviews.

Todd, it sounds like you have great technical talent with music/computer stuff. I wish I had that talent.

Many great people here on IORR have helped with this project by helping with downloads and knowledge. We have a great wonderful group of talented, generous Rolling Stones fans here on IORR. Thank you everyone.

I do all that I can to share too. It may take a good long time to complete this Blues project. It's very involved. I'll share it when it's done.

Maybe some kind soul will post your work (The Spider and the Fly instrumental/isolated tracks). Thank you for letting me know about these tracks.

Thanks again! I was shocked to see your posting of Black Panther - Super Precious Tracks because I look high and low for it online. It wasn't in the Stones Vault.

Like a good friend once equated Mayflower with dog crap, this time they (and you) pulled through and gave something cool. Maybe they used Todd's isolated track?
