Hi Everybody's

This is probably one of my shortest upload ever but this is historical.
The US Army has released numerous LPs over the years , some are called AFRTS (Armed Forces Radio Television Services) some In Sound and so on.
The most interesting ones are the In Sound ones for their comments.
This is a completist thing and it will be great to see some other posts as they are numerous.
It is the only one I got in this serie, better than nothing !

If you go here:

[star1.loc.gov]

And then choose "General Search", next put "AFRTS" in the first search term box and Stones in the second search term box, you will find 4 or 5 "pure" Stones LPs.
When you click on the "full" button on the right of each LP, you will get a page with the content.
(there are other LPs on the result page, due to the "stones" search term, but they only contain results with songs containing the word Stones).

Edit: to see the next 20 titles, click on the "next records" button at the bottom of the page, there are more Stones records.

Thanks for the link.
The "pure stones" lp's you mentioned got only one side, the other side is dedicated to another band or artist, but they are very collectibles for their beautiful labels.

AFRTS is the producer/distributor, and The In Sound is the name of the program.

I have one from 1967 that features The Yardbirds new single, Ha Ha Said The Clown.

Thank you Honestman! Harry Harrison was one of the famous voices of WABC radio in NY.

Absolute gems. Keep this Honestman.

I thought at first this was serious OT until I scrolled down.

On a side-note, in the 60's and 70's many of the tapes of the Johnny Carson shows were reused by the network. Apparently AFRTS didn't reuse the tapes because they had to hold on to em because of the time changes over the world. So, several years ago, AFRTS gave the Carson family the tapes and some of the original shows survive.
