REQUEST: Lost Lennon Tapes radio(!!!) shows

I was wondering if anyone has the Lost Lennon Tapes radio broadcast.

NOT the set that collected all the songs, but the radios shows with the songs and the comments.

I know that these radio shows are out there. They are on 6 DVD's. Yes, it was a pretty long radio series.

I am not a huge Lennon fan, however, I have great memories of following this series on radio when I was living in New Orleans.

I thought it would be nice to revisit those radio shows again.

I have been searching for it for years.

Thought it would be a nice surprise for myself as a Christmas present.

Please let me know if you can help.

THANK YOU!

Thanks! But those are NOT the radio shows, but a collection of tracks ONLY from the radio shows...

I am looking for the radio shows that circulate on 6 DVD's. ( ~28GB )

But thanks, anyway! I appreciate any help.

The Lost Lennon Tapes was an American music documentary series presented by Elliot Mintz, comprising a three-hour premiere episode and 218 one-hour episodes, broadcast on Westwood One Radio Network between 24 January 1988 and 29 March 1992.

Check this link out! It still works although haven't been updated for 9 years.

[Lost Lennon Tapes]

It's a podcast of some of the shows. The source is the original vinyl that was sent to radio stations in the US.

Very interesting and valuable stuff! Probably the most amazing, most detailed and historically most important radio show ever. There's even a book written on it. I wish the Stones would do something like that. But it'll NEVER happen.

Listen to show Number 8. The evolution of I am the Greatest, which Lennon wrote, but gave it to Ringo Starr... And Lennon saying that Abbey Road's B side is junk! Gotta love it!

Unfortunately only a dozen episodes. Far from being complete. confused smiley

And once again: the 22 part CD set collects the songs ONLY. That's not what I want.

Helioobaas!

Thanks for the suggestion.

I did check Guitars101.

Someone shared a 219(!) CD collection back in 2011.

[Lost Lennon Tapes on 219 CD's]

The original Filesonic links are dead. However, the links now redirect you to Filefreak. Is the Filefreak link a spam? Others asked the original uploader to reup the CD's. So I am guessing Filefreak is indeed a spam.

The last reup was at the end of October this year, and nothing since then. (See Page 11.)

He got as far as Episode 14... More than 200 to go! Crazy!!! sad smiley
