Keith RICHARDS Live With Rockpile
Working on my K. Richards list I re-find an old cdr called « Hear You Rockin’ » (GLR 9105) with the date of March 1978 but controlling on the great Nico Zentgraf site I saw that the show was on the 25 October 1978.
Then I found « Live Rockpile » another version with both shows 24 and 25 October 1978. The problem with this version is that the files are lossy.
I discover that on « Hear Your Rockin’ » Great Live Record use the song from the 24th October and only « Let It Rock » is from the 25th. Why? no idea!
Finally I found another version of « Let It Rock » good as the one of « Live Rockpile » but not on lossy format and in better quality as the one in « Hear You Rockin’ »
So I decided to make a compilation, a new Frankenstein production (n°011)
Tracks 01 to 05 from the 25 October Show (coming from « Live Rockpile »)
Track 06 (Let It Rock) not compressed format
Track 07 & 08 from the 25 October Show (the end of « Live Rockpile »)
Track 09 to 22 coming from « Hear You Rockin’ » so from the 24th October (with the exception of Track 17 (Let It Rock) coming from the 25th October.
So you got two times « Let It Rock » with Keith Richards but in different quality.
