Yeah it's a rocking show!

I was just listening to the AC PPV show and the band sounds slow and tired compared to Nola!

if you download this, let me know what you think about this "version",sound is so bad in the beginning that its impossible to get correct speed,,i think undercover is the 1st song where you can hear difference.

Marko. I haven't heard the uncorrected version, but in terms of speed this sounds good. However, this is a tough listen. Really poor quality. Not sure why this show is more "rocking" than the Atlantic City concert, as Dcba said... Maybe the latter has a more careful band paying more attention to not screwing up. AC was a Pay Per View concert with guests, which was a pretty big event at the time. (Still have the 3D glasses, and a VHS of it.) It was a super tight band during the 1989-90 tour, Keef riffing a whole lot!

I had no idea that a recording of this show existed.

This was my first ever Stones concert!!! spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

I was sitting on the balcony, pretty far from the stage. This recording sounds like it was also recorded from a great distance.

Still have the ticket stub, and clippings from newspapers, magazines that came out prior to the show and after. I remember standing in line for hours to buy two tickets. This was pre-internet era. They had a phone number to call to book a ticket, or you had to go to one of the 3-4 locations where they were selling tickets. It was a very exciting morning! If I remember correctly the ticket I got was $22. And even though we were there early in the morning we could only manage to get seats super far from the stage.

When the US dates of the Steel Wheels tour were announced New Orleans was not included. We were still hoping that they wouldn't leave out the most musical city. And a few weeks later NO was added to the list.

Thanks for working on this recording and sharing it, Marko.
