1972 Boots - advice sought, have some, need advice on others!

I cannot get enough of the Stones in '72 - one of the first pieces of Stones bootlegs I ever got was VHS of 'Ladies and Gentlemen' and 'CS Blues', many years ago. Also the OGWT footage of them rehearsing for the tour, 25 minutes or so; Blueberry Jam etc; wonderful!

Audio-wise, I have the 'Unreleased Decca Live Album' (which is really just a collection of soundboards methinks), I have the VGP 'Keep your Motor Running', also have the more complete version of 'Motor Running' MORPH-45.

'You Can't do that Baby' another which is excellent!

I also have the Dallas Rehearsals, 'I Gave you Diamonds..' outtakes collection, 'Taxile on Main Street' also.

Would there be a few more soundboard/audience that would be essential besides the collection mentioned above?

I'm Partial to Plug In Flush Out (VGP 259), which collects performances from Ft. Worth, Houston and Philadelphia.

It also doubles as a fire starter for BBQs.

But you're denying yourself by keeping to soundboards. There are several noteworthy performances from the '72 tour which defy their modest sources and provide enormously satisfying listens.

Please look beyond 72' to 1973 European tour - the songs had been honed to perfection far superior to 1972 imo. Each to their own but having listened to a lot of tapes from both tours, 1973 European Tour stands head and shoulders above 1972.

Thanks for the recommendations; not just soundboards but best of audience tapes I would be interested in also.

1973 I love also, though only have a few thus far - Brussels of course, Happy Birthday Nicky from the Australian tour, LA Nicaraguan Benefit. I really should investigate more from the 73 European tour
