Boots on Amazon: 50 & Counting... Tour?

Wondering if anyone has listened to these bootlegs? Overall, how do they sound?

I'd like to get all the concerts that I went to. Brooklyn, Newark 1, Oakland, San Jose, Las Vegas and Philly 2.

Silver, or gold, cd? I take it that the gold is better? Going to be mainly listening to them on my ipod. So which?

Thanks in advance everybody! cool smiley

These are neither official or authorized bootlegs as the offer claims but rather CDR copies of the shows most likely downloaded from here or from one of the torrents.

Since they are not real factory pressed CD's why not just download them from here for free and burn your own copies. It takes a little time but is worth the effort.

They're selling them as "silver cds" when in fact they are cd-rs??

At least they're probably silver coloured, as well as recordable...

I'm surprised amazon.com allows these items to be sold through its marketplace.

sad smiley

Fans like me & you are better off getting copies of past RS shows through this board. The quality of some (actually, many/most) of these fan-offered recordings is FAR better than anything you will find on amazon.com. Seriously.

No but the OP was thinking of buying some, no offense intended, so it obviously is fooling people into thinking they are getting official releases.

It seems that amazon UK don't mind selling boots either ,possibly not realising that ''Crossfire Hurricane'' in this case has nothing to do with the recent DVD of the same title

It is the same as on Ebay.
The sellers most of the time don't say in the ad it are cd-r's and dvd-r's.

Only when you send them a mail with the question, they have to admit it are not fabric made silver discs and ofcourse they have always excuses like "It are fabric made cd-r's" and " the sound is exellent!" etc.
When I mail them back to say that they probably have the same source where I got the concerts and I can make cd-r's myself for free, they never reply again.

So always send a mail before you buy a cd or dvd on Ebay or Amazon. If you don't get an answer don't buy it either.
