Well it's hard to pick a 1989 recording that's not boring... Maybe Philie (1st show of the tour), or Clemson or the 1st two Atlantic City gigs?

The bottom of the barrel, for sure..

The most "exciting" concerts (when it comes to Rolling Stones) that WV is putting out is the 1981 shows. But let's face it....the 1981 is truely boring.
Keith was great, and so was Wyman. But once hearing one great show; you've heard it all. The personality lies within the 1968-1978 shows

I'll not allowing 1981 tour bashing...the best tour ever. Some of the best versions of Midnight Rambler EVER.

by saying boring I mean shows that are already available as SBD.
I´m not talking about the quality of the show itself, it´s a matter of taste sometimes.
but we had toronto 2/3 as SBD and montreal complete on SBD.

The Stones are the Stones and we love them for it. Every tour it's different of each other and i love it all. I have my favorite ones (81/82) but every show has his "stuff". Two new 89 shows up in SB quality? Well, all i know it's a great news! Just enjoy!

I think Erik has a point regarding 1989 and even 1994...but he's stone crazy regarding 1981-82...or snow crazy...maybe both

Erik, everybody knows now that everything after 1972 is for you the bottom of the barrel. You don't have to repeat it everytime again.yawning smileyyawning smileyyawning smiley

Shouldn't WV have the Stones' 1972 San Francisco shows at the Winterland arena?

Funny...!
My post was supposed to be funny as well, you shouldn't take me too seriously, midnrambler. And no; I don't think I'm dissing Rolling Stones of the Vegas-era that often.

But I think your comment should be directed to other people, not me. My favourite Rolling Stones tour is TOTA 1975, and I'm a big fan of the 1978/1981/1982 tours as well......even though the 1981/1982 shows doesn't vary much, performancewise.
