How does this show compare with the one beneath it:

I already have the VGP and Rattle Snake and the Rattle Snake is much better for my ears.
However i don't have the Godfatherecords G.R. and wondering if it's better then the Rattle Snake?

Any info would be much appreciated.

Godfather is NEVER better than other releases. It's either worse (like in most cases) or the same. The Rattlesnake release of Edinburgh 1982 is surely the best

I like Rattlesnake's version better too.............

Thanks guys i had a feeling the Godfatherecords would not be better but since i had the vgp and finally got the Rattle Snake and compared them immediately i loved the Rattle Snake much more. So since i didn't have the Godfather one i figured to ask in case.

I'd go along with Erik : older is better.
The RS was pressed at a time (2000?) when bootleggers still respected the tape source they obtained = that is minimal EQ and no level boosting (aka "brickwalled mastering" ).

I'm pretty sure the GF guys crank up all their tapes* by several dB's, in order to thicken the sound. Yuck!

* = (usually stolen from the p2p site Dime, btw)
