ISO complete Paris 76 run
Posted by: happystoned ()
Date: October 16, 2012 14:57

Hey everyone,

first of all, big thnx for mods who allowed me (after serious problems with registration) to be a part of community. The Roling Stones was always my favourite band; I spent ages downloading multiple sources from this site.

Anyway, is there any helpful soul that would be enough kind to help me with complete Paris 76 run? Actually I am looking for unprocessed audience and soundboard tapes for all four shows. I got silvers but getting raw tapes could be 'something' if you take my meaning.

And please do not treat my moodest request as 'gimme gimme gimme' shit; I understand this is only a friendly sharing space, not a shop smiling smiley.

I attended their 1967 Warsaw concert so if anyone after some old papers, photos etc. just LMK and will do my best to help you out with these odds.

Greetings from Poland,
Pawel

Hi Pawel,
there is no soundboard for each 76 Paris show.
In fact, if i'm not mistaken, only the 6/6/76 and 7/6/76 shows are soundboard quality.

Thx mate! I did not know and was more than sure all dates are professionally recorded.

Anyway, could you help me with two mentioned by you as raw board transfers?

Hopefully someone maybe will pull up audience tapes someday too...

I have the 6/6/76 Paris show
If you're interested in this one, just wait one hour and you'll be able to download it.

OK smiling smiley Is this a raw board transfer or silver pressed title? I have already these from silvers:

[DAC-046] Pavillon De Paris

[VGP 241] "Aux Abattoirs"

[DAC-009] French Made

The audience sources (best possible) are as follows:

June 4th: from master, torrented on DIME, this year. Lower generation than "Pavillon de Paris" (DAC) but same recording
June 5th: best source is still "Aux Abattoirs" (VGP), at least as I know
June 6th: torrented on Hungercity, titled "In The Boulevards of Paris" . Not from master, but from 1st gen tapes.
June 7th: Best source is (still) Europe 76 (DAC). Don't know which generation it actually is.

BTW, "French Made" (DAC) which you mentioned is a SBD recording

It's also worth seeking out the Falo matrix of Paris June 6th 1976, taken from both SBD and AUD source. Remastered by Captain Acid. That is definetly THE best recording of the 1976 tour (together with the 2nd half of June 7th 1976 (SBD source) ).

The one I have is the one I made a few years ago from video source (TMOQ) and from CD source (aud rec)

Do you mind if I ask for all of these to reseed? From what you listed I am keeping only ""Aux Abattoirs" (VGP). The others are very interesting from description and it would be a huge pleasure to listen to them all.

Hello

Many thanks, I also have DL "It's A Gas In Paris".

I have listened this 76-6-6 source for the first time !

I have [DAC-009] "French Made", but this "It's A Gas In Paris" sounds differently.

Where does this source come from ?

Best regards

Hello,
As I said to happystoned, I took the best audio from a video source (TMOQ - pal version) : Honky Tonk Women, Hand Of Fate, Star Star, You Gotta Move, You Can't Always Get What You Want, Happy, It's Only Rock'n'Roll, Brown Sugar, Jumping Jack Flash, Street Fighting Man
The other songs were taken from another video source (Jointrip, ntsc version)

I owe you the truth.
About Hot Stuff, I took it out of "Love You Live" official CD and turned it into mono.
Hope I won't go to jail for that !

I did not yet listened to all of these odds but thx everyone for help!

I would only ask for raw audience and soundboard transfer if anyone have them but that's the only thing I can ask after what I was offered.

Congrats!

To Happystoned

I saw your offer with 67 Warsaw papers: I'm interesting with front-cover papers if published??
Thanks in advance for your help!
