Hi Crash.....I don't know if you remember but when I first came on this site you pointed me towards a few Ian Dury shows...I guessed from that you might also be a fan, well last week a New to circulation show came up on a site called Quality bootz...I've only just D/L it myself so haven't listened yet but it has high praise in the write-up...so...if it's any use to you...Dusseldorf 19.11.1978......... [qualitybootz.blogspot.com] ...Cheers, Eddie

P.S. for everyone else there's thousands of other shows too............119 Stones

Cheers Crash...yes I did already have this but only on VHS so that's definitely an upgrade for me......Thanks a lot.

I did find a couple of other things (And I can't remember where I found them) but ....when I went to D/L the thing I thought was a music file it turned out to be only a torrent file so.....I haven't been able to do anything with them so far as I don't know enough about torrents.......anyway I have two torrent files for two shows..(17KB & 24KB )...Zurich 1978 & Tokyo 1995 if they are any use to you....I could email them to you...........

One question, you wouldn't know where I could get the full version of The pink Pop Festival 1981 ? I got an 11 track version off the last link you gave me but then later found a 17 track version of the same show, I think on guitars 101 but the files were expired.(Yes it was 101 I just checked...still expired.......[www.guitars101.com] .)

I don't know obviously how big a fan you are; I've got a few good quality shows and footage but am always on the lookout for more....If you'd like I can post my list for you to check out ...maybe we could trade some snailmail ?.....
O.K. Cheers again, Eddie

you're very welcome, Eddie... smiling smiley

I don't really collect Ian Dury CDs (was just helping out with some links I'd seen), but thanks, anyway...although I may check out the 1980 DVD at some stage...

...regarding Pinkpop 1981...there's a user named "Pops" at BootlegZone with a listing for the 17 track version on his trade list...

Ian Dury And The Blockheads - Pinkpop Festival 1981

...if you login and send him a message on his profile page (below), you may be able to set up a trade... winking smiley

Profile for Pops

...hope that helps...

Cheers Crash, thanks again...smileys with beer.....I'll check all that out.....Just to recommend an Ian Dury DVD...(I haven't seen this to download although it may be out there)...but anyway...Hammersmith Odeon..1985 the official DVD ..."Hold on to your structure"....sample below ..Blockheads - live Hammersmith 1985...(The sound on the DVD is obviously a lot better...........ironically it's after about 3 and a half minutes and after Ian shuts up that the band really find the groove....sublime............

No 'fraid not about the Tokyo '95 show - that's also on my wants list..........if you do torrents (I think it's a torrent site anyway - not that I know much about them) it is listed on there........[rutracker.org] ...when you put the cursor on 'bootlegs' it says 'no result' but when you click on it a list opens up....I don't know if these are available on there or not....I haven't had time to investigate any further..
Also found this trade site with both shows + Paris '98...scroll down....again, I haven't had time to investigate ..... [www.geocities.co.jp] .....

You say that you've re-uploaded 'The Pink Pop Festival'....I went on Guitars 101 but when I clicked on 'The Pink'....it was just a blank page...???
