Re: Question: Re Andrew's Blues IMP-1126 and VGP-006

Rot,
VGP is a label that transfered *MANY* famous vinyl titles from other labels. SODD-12, TMOQ, IMP, Royal Sound, Lunch Records, Wizardo, etc... A few don't even mention that they are VGP (ie Bedspring Symphony).
So, the answer depends on what CD you refer to. It could be VGP, or it could be a different transfer of the IMP title. As far I as know, Andrews Blues is one of those that does not mention VGP on the cd or the cover art, just to confuse everyone like TSP's Time is on Our Side (VGP-038). Thanks VGP!

IMP-1126 = VGP-006
As blakeeik says, in the beginning, VGP sometimes printed the original LP LABEL on their CD covers, and not just the same ARTWORK. For instance, the first VGP release (001) says "Speederball Records" on the cover.
After a while, they started writing VGP on all of their releases
....apart from the "no numbered VGP releases", like "Got Live If You Want It", "Bedspring Symphony", "Party Lounge" etc. But that's a different thing, as they are not a part of the "official VGP catalogue", unlike "Andrews Blues".
And besides, there is only ONE CD release of "Andrews Blues", and that's the VGP release.
