Request: "Light Up The Town" & "Pave Boulder '81" CDs

These seem to be silver CDs from Japan. Does anyone know these? Or does possibly someone even have these and could upload them?

I'm sure these were reviewed on the 'Collectors Music Review" website and it said they were both vinyl transfers of the FULL shows (Oct 3rd 'Pave Boulder' and 'My Heart's Pounding', Oct 7th 'Light Up The Town' and 'California Canape'). As a consequence I didn't bother - I'd be interested to find out if anyone knows any different?

They've probably taken ownership of your excellent merge on HC midnrambler.
You're a star again!

munichhilton, the bootleg is a bit older, one page in the internet says march 2010,
so midnramblers merge may find its way on a DAC someday, but this boot here is something else.

Here is a place in Japan I have ordered from and they do list the 2 CD's -but it is truly expensive hence I only order the odd thing here and there.

Look in Rolling Stones about a quater of the way down

I may be able to help you with "Pave Boulder 81", midnrambler. I'm expecting the silver 1-2 weeks (not ordered from that site above, of course! )

Hi Falo, yes, I buy, download or steal everything I can get my hands on...gimme gimme gimme! ;v)
Well it did look like a nice item, and as I mentioned on HC - I really dig that first Boulder show. Hope it sounds as good as the vinyl rip that Jörg and Midnrambler kindly shared.
That "no-label" is pretty good with the EQ, btw, unlike lots of other Japanese labels. Also look forward to hear what they did with Seattle 1975 (in 2 weeks)
Their Glasgow 1973 release and Hold On Tight release, are far better than the other CD releases of those shows. ....but I'm not saying that it's "better" than their original torrents - but "different", in a positive way.

ok sounds interesting, would be nice to compare their EQ with the one I did
(but not uploaded).

Recieved the CDs today...."Seattle 1975" is a direct copy of the JEMS torrent. No EQing done.....so it's a straight clone

Pave Boulder 81 is great, and very similiar to midnramblers torrent. But of course it's not a copy - as it was released 1 or 2 years ago.

I have put "Pave Boulder 81" on DIME, right now:

Hi guys- I'm not just saying this to provoke a riot, but by a VERY strange coincidence- I was just listening to this 'Pave Boulder' no-label 2cd (I've had it in my collection for some time). It's always sounded pretty dreadful to my ears- VERY trebley & harsh, with the wind constantly changing the sound. I couldn't even get through it all (!). I was trying again, in-case it sounded any better than the last time I played it.

Hi MrsHop, both the "midnrambler-torrent" as well as the "Pave Boulder 81" double-cd needs a little tweakening on the EQ on ones stereo, to avoid the trebly frequenzies from hurting ones ears. But once one have done that....it's a very fine audience recording (allthough not "excellent" by any means)
