Review by Rich and Karen Kaczmarek
Having seen the White Stripes in the Air Canada Centre, we decided to skip them this time. There was a huge demand for Stones tickets outside of Nationwide Arena just before the Stones went on. A lot of people had to go home instead of seeing the "Greatest Rock 'n' Roll Band in the World."
The Stones came out with a suprise and went into Start Me Up. The Stones and the crowd never really stopped the rest of the night. The next four numbers all sounded great. Then the Stones went into a Beggars Banquet set by starting out with the gem No Expectations. I was hoping for Jigsaw Puzzle during the set but that did not happen. During Stray Cat Blues, Jagger changed the age of the girl to 19 years old and the song featured a great solo by Daryl Jones. Street Fighting Man and Sympathy for the Devil were excellent.

During the introductions, when Charlie was introduced, he mimicked Ronnie by putting his arms in the air over his head. The crowd loved it.

For those of you who are big fans of the white coat and hat, Mick wore the outfit during Love Train. A bit of a puzzled audience, but a great version of the song. Then they played You Got Me Rocking on the main stage. What a great live song. The highlight of the night was next with Can't You Hear Me Knocking. Blows us away every time.

Mick screamed Ow during Midnight Rambler with Charlie responding reminiscent of the early 70's live versions of the song. The Stones were at the top of their game tonight and they knew it. Mick took a victory lap to the center stage during Jumping Jack Flash. Thanks for another great show boys.
