He ofered the tape upfor auction at Christies. Christies have certain policies due to accepting an item up for auction. I believe there were some issues concerning the policies Christies have for bringing up this item.
Fact is...the item is still out there (and up for sale), IMHO the recording is authentic, and it still remains one hell of a piece of Rolling Stones Recording History!!!

Hi IORR-ers,
While surfing on Ebay I can along this intresting item:

A recording of the supportact that performed prior to the Stones in Leeds 1971. A bit of wishfull thinking of mine but it would be nice if this recording would actually hold the first two songs the Stones played at Leeds ;-)
