I've downloaded about 10 gigs from US and L and others in just a few weeks and want to give something back. 1986 Pussy Galore did a remake of EOMS, and maybe not a lot of you have it. Get it here if you don't. this is just a rip I did with WMA. If it works for you; I'll put up FLAC files soon. LMK if the links D/L.

Thank you. Much appreciated. But I won't need the flac file upgrade.

Thanks for posting this. I've tried to find copies of this for years.

I love the "Ya Yas" reference during Casino boogie - hysterical.

I'm having trouble getting track 12 -- seems link 12 and 13 are linked together and it only leads me to 13.

Would love it if you did FLACs versions.

Much appreciated.

Here's a bit on the background of the recording (taken from the liner notes to the Pussy Galore "Corpse Love: The First Year" Caroline CD, CAROL CD1706, 1992):

Pussy Galore moved to NYC in June of '86. John Hammill stayed behind and was replaced by Bob Birt. With Bob came the introduction of a drum kit that incorporated peices of metal (street signs, automotive springs, the gas tank from a large American-built car, and later, Steve Albini's cock ring) thereby eliminating the need for some extra person to bang on things and solidifying the PG sound. "Exile" was done as a sort of gag response to Sonic Youth's often stated intent to cover The Beatles' 'White Album." Neil knew the Stones' "Exile" well and was given the task of interpreting the record and teaching it to the rest of us. Neil would present a song to the band, we would play it a few times, then lay it down. In this manner the entire album was recorded in sequence. By side three everyone had gotten into the swing of it and were not yet sick of the process. Recorded with the "Pussy Galore Mobile Unit," a borrowed cassette 4-track, in the PG rehearsal space, NYC, Aug. 24-26, '86

'Corpse Love' is/was a 1CD collection of PG's first recordings. It included Turd On The Run, Ventilator Blues, Just Wanna See His Face and Let It Loose from the "Exile On Main St." cassette SHOV 3. Copies of the complete tape are extremely rare as it was only 'distributed' on cassette in limited quantities.

Members of Pussy Galore: Bob Bert (drums, metal things), Julia Cafritz (guitar, voc), Christina (guitar), Neil Hagerty (guitar, voc), JON SPENCER (voc, guitar, metal).
