Just saw that on Feb 25 there will be dvd's released (on official websites) under the label BOR including Springsteen, Dylan and Tom Petty. Title of each dvd is "broadcast archives". Anyone knows anything about this?

Don't know about the Springsteen or Petty titles, but these days - there seems to be some semi-official DVDs and CDs of Bob Dylan hitting the market - none of which approved by Dylan himself. The releases you mention are probably in the same vein.
So I think there's some kind of hole in the copyrights of broadcasted material appearing, making these performances easy cash for the record labels.
Not better quality than the bootleged versions, BTW.
