This is for Mick Wilbury. When the legendary European Tour '73 radio shows were rebroadcast in 1987, Bobby Keys' solo magically reappeared. It was inaudible on the original '74 broadcast. Allegedly, Mick J himself supervised this remix.

Everything sounds more aggressive, the guitars are brought forward, and you can hear the horns/keyboards.

I dunno, it almost seems (at least to me) that the missing sax solo COULD have been a later overdub. In any case, I love it. Judge for yourself.

Maybe it would be worthwhile to post it.

Based in the fact that the live concerts from 1970 up to 1973 were not officially released, the boots of our collection are the only way to relive the magic of Mick Taylor's guitar. He was crucial for the sound of Stones from that period.

So, I'm always approaching posts from that era with great enthusiasm.
I'm looking forward to your 1973 compilation.

You know I've never liked that sax solo, it just doesn't seem to 'flow' with the rest of the song.

Overdub eh, I'd never thought of that, nothing's impossible tho.
