For you Doors fans out there,the Biography Channel is showing a Morrison "Final 24" episode tonight. They basically reconstruct Jomo's final 24 hours (though, no word on whether they will mention the Smoothies [sorry, VERY arcane reference]). I think it's on at 10PM EST for those of you in the U.S.

i watched it and wasnt that impressed with it at all . the show portayed as fact that morrison did heroin that last night in paris and thought that has been a rumor for many yrs there has never proof of that.

That H-talk aint likely imo.
But from what I've read of Locksmith's link, that theory is.

I was also pretty disappointed - the re-enactments (as they usually are) were unintentionally hilarious. Most of the docu ended up being a re-cap of Morrison's life, and the copy seems to have been written by a fawning fan who maybe read a Morrison biography and swallowed it as gospel.

One big plus were the interviews with Vince Treanor (Doors road manager), Tony Funches (bodyguard), & Tandy Martin (Morrison's HS girlfriend).

I always am (at the least) entertained by Morrison docs - still a compelling figure for me (though not nearly as much as when I was a lad).
