Didn't have "volume 2"

I have 2 versions of "Reggae'n Roll" on vinyl - one of them is the one Pepin just shared; the other one was released by Speederball records. Never compared the 2. Is there anyone who has ?

Reggae'n'Roll 2 contains a rare version of Fiji Jim with an additional lead guitar during the intro. It can also be found on Place Pigalle 5/6 and Place Pigalle (VGP-382). I was never aware of this until just now when I read it in Hoffmann's Weissbuch.

Yeah, remember this situation. Threre is a new Stones out and you already knew some of this stuff. But I have a question to you guys: I have the records for decades, when its were released. Thought all these versions are available elsewere in better quality. So whats the reason to download this stuff which I thought nobody is interested in anymore..

I have that book somewhere. But unfortunately, Hoffman doesn't go into "details" soundwise. A lot of the ones which gets the same rating, sounds really really different

Yes you are right of course, soundwise these LPs are uninteresting. All has been released in much better quality on CDs. But it's a nice memory to the old vinyl days. I once had all these LPs but unfortunately there's nothing left anymore since I sold them all as CDs came up. I regret it today, but it's too late!

Ah ok ,midnrambler, just to remember the old vinyl days. I was thinking for many years of selling this old bootleg stuff (not the original official vinyls!), cause many of these were rereleased in better soundquality with a few exceptions.Well I didn`t and kept most of it (just for remembering )
