My question is.. where is Blue!!! from the Visions Of Paradise single. In my opinion his best solo track, has got great blues feeling.

Strange time to be releasing a high profile Jagger solo item, while the Stones are on tour. I suppose Mick has devoted some attention to it between gigs.

Inevitably it includes three previously unreleased songs (which are welcome). You can almost hear the record company executives while the set was being put together "we'll have to give them something new so that the completist fans will buy it, that should help sales".

Otherwise much as expected for a Best-off set. I'm sure we'll all have our alternative list of what it should be. I'd like to have heard Jagger's own recording of 'Disease' (released by Matchbox 20) which in IMO is a great track.
But like the excellent B-side 'Blue' pobably not considered suitable for the set. Perhaps one day some kind of solo-Rarities release will deal with that.

And where is "Hard woman"? I love the rock version of this song..

So - what's this Too Many Cooks like, then? Anyone heard it?

I will buy it anyway. And I am glad to see that some real unreleased songs will be on it. MJ is so reluctant to deal with the past and liten to old tapes..making this best of a nice surprise.
I would have liked to see on it : stomp, what kind of world is this, memory motel with Mick on piano...

Let's Work instead of Throwaway or Say You Will?Joy instead of Dancing in the Starlight or Blue?Did the world need to be reminded of these songs?

CaledonianGonzo said "So - what's this Too Many Cooks like, then? Anyone heard it?"... of couse...I´d like to hear final mix of this song (1973)...I´m enjoying......
"Blue" is great song but it´s B-side...this might to be The Best Of....I´m mising Visions Of Paradise and Hard Woman...the best solo songs of MJ.... (of course including God Gave Me Everything, Sweet Thing and Just Another Night)
toomuchforme: no, it´s no Goats Head Soup recording (Too Many Cooks), it´s Mick´s solo recording....

Speaking in Mick, is there any way to remove the vocal from "Don't Call Me Up"?

would be a nice song without the lyrics!

Thanks for any help (love the music, but the lyrics...wow! what a shame!!!)
