...because the Paris soundboards of June 6th & 7th contains material released on Love You Live they can't be uploaded in their entirly, I made a 'concert' out of both. I marked the songs from the 6th with a '*' and those from the 7th with a '#'. Hope you enjoy...

why couldn't you upload the tracks that were used on Love You Live? Those tracks were overdubbed anyhow so uploading the un-overdubbed tracks wouldn't be uploading anything that was officially released.

...it's my opinion (and of many others) that uploading 'official' released material would jeopardize this community and might affect other community's too...
It's a policy also used on dime... Don't go there...everybody seems to be cool with fans sharing non-officially material...let us not push our luck...

I personaly would love to have the 1975 Toronto show...complete...but IORR and FF are also on Love You Live...
Trade anyone...?

ah.........I dont see what the big deal is......I mean, if you post say..."Brown Sugar" from Paris 6/6/76 in it's original form, without the overdubs......then its' not an officially released track. I'm not singling you out rubycatgirl, I've noticed this from alot of people and I don't understand why. I know you didn't make the policy.

Here's a hypothetical question....Does this mean that we can't post a version of say "Honky Tonk Women" from the studio in '69 that hasn't had the guitar solo overdubbed yet?? It's the original version's backing track that was officially released but its' not the final version, so we can't post this either can we??

I'm sure most people will say, "sure we can post that" cause its' classified as an outtake. Well whats' the difference in posting this and posting "Brown Sugar" before the overdubs from Paris??

TD7 I must concur with your assessment. Paris 76 "Backstage Unlimited" has been posted in its entirety numerous times. That said, thanks for all the posts RCG!!

Yeah btw, RCG...it is a nice post....I already had both shows myself but I'm not complaining about the quality of your post. I hope you don't take it as a personal critisism either. I know you didn't make that policy and I just used this thread to try and make a point. I probably should have started my own thread. But thanks for posting this music.

Tumblin_Dice, that thing about not posting versions of songs that have been used for official records, is just a stupid juridical thing they have to follow at torrent-sites....so they can say that "not a single note on our site is available on offical releases".
It has nothing to do with IORR.
THe reason Rubycatgirl don't have such "different versions of official songs" is obviously that she download from torrent-sites, instead of trading/buying.

Yeah well I didn't think there was any official policy about that here...but I've noticed several people doing that. Somebody once posted an audience recording from the '69 Baltimore show that "Love In Vain" was taken from for Ya Ya's and they left "Love In Vain" out for that reason. Which I never understood. I mean it was an audience recording. It wasn't the official version.

But anywayz.....so you're saying that if I downloaded Los Angelos 7/9/75 from a torrent, that it wouldn't have "Sympathy For The Devil" on it because a shortened, overdubbed version of it appeared on Love You Live?

Yes. SFTD would be removed, at least from some torrent sites.
It's really silly though, I know.

...I got those both out of a trade...so I actually do have a choice...
but I decided to stay on the safe side...it's not my board...

Right you are. I was confusing my titles but my point was both shows (June 6th & 7th) have been posted in there entirety previously.

ATTENTION Rubycatgirl:

Are any of the tracks from RATTLESNAKE " Down And Out In Paris " bootleg in stereo soundboard ???

If applicable, which tracks are and which are not stereo soundboard ??

Unfortunately; for whatever reason, I can't seem to download from Gigasize anymore but I do have an opportunity to purchase a copy of that boot.

Please advise accordingly.

Thanks in advance.

...all tracks are SB...they're just from two days...I marked the songs from 6/6 with a '*' and the 6/7 tracks with a '#'.

The 6/7 tracks are all from RATTLESNAKE 066/067...in summary:

1. Honky Tonk Women#
2. If You Can't Rock Me/
Get Off Of My Cloud#
7. Hot Stuff#
8. @#$%&#
9. Cherry Oh Baby#

6. Midnight Rambler#
7. It's Only Rock 'N' Roll#
8. Brown Sugar#
9. Jumping Jack Flash#
10. Street Fighting Man#

BTW...I also have trouble with gigasize...I manage d/l'ing by trying over and over again...sometimes up to 15 times...it's not funny...gigasize used to be much more reliable...gigasize was pretty constant when I uploaded this...

Rubycatgirl:

I was pretty sure that most tracks on" Down And Out In Paris " are soundboard BUT are they stereo tracks (as opposed to mono tracks) ????

As for Gigasize; I'm of the opinion that they have locked me out from downloading because I can't get past the " CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD " button. Fortunately; I managed to download plenty, thanks in part to UrbanSteel, prior to the end of January 2007 and then when I returned from holiday, I couldn't download anything.
