Rockman's from Geelong which is a separate town about 1/2hour south-west of Melbourne.

I'm from Cockatoo which is an hour due east of Melbourne & there's another one of us who is on the eastern fringes who crashes his way onto the forum from time to time.

Funny about girlfriends, Mrs Vox is definitely NOT a Stones freak but at least she knows what I'm doing on the net - there's just not enough time to do anything else

I just didnt want to point out Rockies exact residence.
Still I'd rank him a surroundings-person .

i'm in the metro area .

any of the melbourne dudes here listen to 3RRR on thursday nights beyween 10.00 - 12.00 , a dude called Max crawdaddy spins some nice blues ,and even plays stones boots from time to time, he just digs the Stones!

sadly we don't get many great blues shows on the radio here at melbourne ,i know max crawdaddy's been around for 25 years or more.

just came to me now , has any of the dudes from Melbourne / world ever seen the tv commercial to the under cover album from 1983 ?

it came out late that year ,i think EMI was behind the promo , i think it showed a bit of the undercover clip as well?

I've been supplying Max with the cream of ABB boots since the tour started, he & I go back a fair way @ RRR. I used to have a show there for 28 years but finished up last October, I've interviewed the more acoustic blues guys such as John Hammond & Brownie McGhee. It was a gas...

tell me vox what was the name of the show you use to run ?

do you see much of max these days, he's just the best, amazing voice as well ,
it's a shame it's only a 2 hour show ,should be longer.

by the way did you get to see mick taylor with the mayall band back in feb 1982 ?
i think Taylor also came here in 1995 , and went down to Greville Records ,
had chat on that a few years back with Warwick who owns that shop .

by the way have you ever heard a very long reggae version of out of control , i heard it a few times in the back ground of Stones interviews ?

is there one or is it just a small part for the interviews ?
