Question about Wolfgang's Vault

How do you record concerts off of Wolfgang's Vault? Do you have to get some kind of recording software? A friend told me he just puts the concerts on his hard drive but I don't know how he does this. I know somebody managed to get the Stones Detroit '78 show from there. Any ideas?

You have to record it as it's playing. We have tried various stream capture programmes & none work as far as I'm aware, Wolfgang has protected himself well as is his right (curses)

If you have a soundcard & fairly fast computor you can play the stream & record it @ the same time on the one computor.

The other way is to stream the show on one computor & record it onto something else, be it another computor, cassette recorder, etc. In this case you use the line out/in sockets which are usually somewhere on the back.

I use the 2 computor approach & both of them are permanently plugged into an amp thru which I can route the signal
