Thank ya millions, Cafaro! Man Of Honour.

I believe the provenience of Highway Child may be
a question for the professors. I know its said to be
from beggars sessions; but how can we proove it? In my ears
it sounds very much like 1969. Not that I can hear Taylor,
but I sense his influence... ?

Highway Child is from the BB sessions. It's been documented to have been recorded February 1968 in KR's house, but it's not confirmed if it's from that particular session. But it is confirmed to be from 1968.

Sorry guys, I just find this stuff really interesting. But the info on outtakes isn't as vague as you guys would believe.

But who confirmed it? What house- on Cheyne Walk? Redlands?
Keno says March. Do they remember anything at all.. ?
I gotta go check out Wyman's writing.
Man, we should really pump Mr Wyman on this.

Redlands, according to [www.nzentgraf.de].

I'm not sure about Keno's sources, because he and the above mentioned say different things sometimes. Keno could be correct though, because none of the other tracks from the Feburary Redlands session got out on boot, so it's a possiblilty that it's from that March session.

Like I said, all that's been absolutely confirmed is that it's from 1968. All sources I have seen about this song say it's from 1968.

Sounds fair enough, but as a archive researcher and a Historian
by profession, I would like to have a good check for myself.
Until I have done so, I of course believe you.
I can see you didnt fall into this recently!
Thank you for the postings.

Baboon,
I don't think I could sleep at night if I were a historian. There would always be that nagging feeling that because I didn't see it for myself, maybe my facts are wrong and all the time I spent in research was wasted. I envy you

We eat & shit & @#$%& like everybody else.
Job is job and spare time is spare time.
Just wrote that in order to make myself important ;-)

Plus I wanted to pick a hole in the "we-all-know-that"-attitude
I think I see too often at sites like this one.
The only one who knows it all for real is Bill Wyman.
And maybe Erikjjf... ;-)

Me I know nuthin.
