...Sorry for Hungarian words in this text, but Lorenz is
learning Hungarian to communicate better with his lovely gf,
so I'm just giving him amn occasion to practise here...... yawning smiley)

István A Király (King Stephen) the rock musical from 1984...
Aside from the Stones the very coolest & most exhausting moment
in global rock history "imho"

...Watch it & impress on your gf with a review...
"Bill" (Gyúla Deak) is the one-legged Táltos (Shaman)
& Gyúla Vikidal is the rebel, Koppány Úr, Lord Koppány
The real title is "Szállj Fel, Szabad madár"
( = Fly Up, Bird Of Freedom)

"Rabok legyünk, vagy szabadok?" is from Sándor Petöfi,
the 1800's rebel, soldier, politican, national hero and poet.
"Would we be slaves or free men?"

I was looking for this song for the first seven year with Internet,
and now I have found the video. Havent seen this since 91.

And Lorenz; here's the lyrics to "Szállj Fel... " [www.zeneszoveg.hu]

Hey dudes, this one deserves a better fate...

Rock history

The fur-clad Shaman "Bill" (the "Howlin' Wolf of Hungary")
thruout the first seconds only is worth the sneak peek.
And listen to Gyula Vikidal's vocal, enjoy the Rave of the Hun!!

1,000 year old rock music!!

Just tell me if ya like the lyrics to István A Király.
Ask anyone in age 40-60 in Hungary, great chance they have this on vhs.

First I searched this song since Internet came, then I have searched
the video for this for many many years... Found this the other day.
For me its like finding the Holy Grail!!
