inquiry about Not Guilty tracks with Keith & Black Uhuru

do any of you wonderfully kind & generous Keith Bootleg Connoisseurs have a 22-track version of the 1992 boot called Not Guilty?
the cover art of the CDr version i have lists 22 tracks, but in fact there are only 20 numbers on the disk;
besides which, most of them are misidentified (and pretty poor sound quality), so i'm wondering if it's just my copy that's a mess.
if a truly complete version exists, i'd love to track it down, but i reckoned i should ask here first if anyone has the missing bits:
~ Shine Eye Gal (Keith with Black Uhuru, 1979)
~ Beast (ditto)
~ Before They Make Me Run (what's on the disk is an early take of the Stones' version, but the cover art lists a "dub version" with Sly & Robbie)

thanks for any insights anyone could offer - and for uploads of those tracks, if anyone has them and feels inclined!

"When this punky-reggae crossover happened I was already there. Another case of blame it on Keith Richards. This had started sometime in '74 when Zigzag carried an interview where Keith explained how, after seeing massively-influential Jimmy Cliff movie The Harder They Come, he was propelled headfirst into Jamaican culture. Keith loved everything about the island - the music, the idyllic vibe, the lush scenery, the lethal weed, the guns....

'I'd say definitely that Jamaica is the now the most music-orientated country in the world,' he declared. "

"'Shine Eye' was one of their finest moments. Slinky and haunting – with tasteful guitar flourishes from none other than Keith Richards. In true Jamaican style, Keith had jammed on some grooves in the studio and then found his guitar work emblazoned on the credits. He didn't mind though. Typical Uhuru harmonies soar sweetly while that has to be one of the all-time groin-grabbing basslines, which is given full rein in the dub. The Disco Mix 12-inch was a great development for late 70s reggae as the song section would make way for a crashing dub finale." (ibid)

"BUNNY WAILER - 'Blackheart Man' [Island, '76]

Not including Marley here as he's not exactly gone unheard. But his former Wailers companion Bunny deserves a special mention for this superlative set which managed to hit a vibe of calm optimism and wisdom rarely equalled, except by talents like Ijahman Levi. The title track, 'Armageddon' and 'Battering Down Sentence' show Bunny's lyrics to be as eloquent as any ever encountered on a reggae album. Again, he uses the usual session guys - including some Wailers - but, like Spear, manages to work them through his personality into a fresh, uplifting wall of sound that's unique to him. For 'This Train' Bunny goes back to the original Rasta heartbeat drumming which captivated Keith Richards enough for him to make a whole album around it in '97. " (ibid)

I'd love it if I'd find the requested outtakes.
I second withssoul's inquiries.
Hope someone find some pleasure in (in particular
the latter postings) the reading about Keith and
his relation to the maturing reggae scene as of 1979-ish.
There are some links which specifically deals with those
Showcase-takes with Black Uhuru.
Will look some more. (Another sample of Shine Eye Gal via Amazon [www.content.loudeye.com])

Apparently this was up before.
There they say the 2nd request was called Beast Of Dub.
Would that the be correct title, Withsssoul?

On this Google-search [www.google.com] by undersigned you might just
find something.. ? The Dutch site (hit#2?) with reggae trade, maybe?

thank you very much indeed, Kait - i already own this disk (and also have most of the tracks in way better quality on other disks),
but if you think other people would be interested ... ? i could post a list of the numbers that are really on it, if anyone wants it -
the artwork (at least the artwork on my copy) misidentifies most of them.

and Erik honey ...

>> There they say the 2nd request was called Beast Of Dub.

i don't know. the cover art to my disk lists "Best of Dub", which isn't there,
and as i noted earlier it misidentifies almost every track.
Nico's fine site on the other hand lists "Beast" among the numbers Keith did with Black Uhuru in early 1979.
since the good Nico is about sixteen squillion times more reliable than this boot cover, i'll stick with his title for it.
looking at that other thread (thanks for digging that out - i'd forgotten it totally)
it's interesting that some other version of this boot lists What a Joy and Beast as the same track -
that may even be a "eureka" moment, in fact: the guitar on What a Joy sounds a *lot* like Beast of Burden.
i wonder if a separate "dub" Beast actually exists - if any good Keith Bootleg Connoisseurs have it,
let me know, baby won't you let me know :E

here - i hope! - is a decent-quality version of What a Joy, off another bootleg:
[download.yousendit.com]

sure sounds like a close relative of Beast of Burden -
could it be that the backing track to this is what Nico's got listed as "Beast"??

thank you kindly! i found your thread, and bumped it up, and am grateful for your offer,
but i already own those tracks, except for the ones i'm inquiring about -
Shine Eye Gal, Beast (if this really exists as a separate track from What a Joy) and a Keith/Black Uhuru version of BTMMR.
i'm about to check out the links in your september thread, to see if they're still valid/accessible,
and whether i can figure out which one is Shine Eye Gal, and whether BTMMR is a Keith/Black Uhuru rendition ...

well now this is interesting! the links in the good 2120 Southmichigan's thread are still valid:

track 8 on side 2 is interesting - anyone know the title of that one??
(thank you 2120 Southmichigan ~ thank you Keith!)
