OT: Hendrix - Berkeley rehearsals

Hendrix played 2 amazing shows at the Berkeley Community Theater on May 30, 1970. Experience Hendrix recently released the complete second set (as well as re-releasing the heavily edited "Jimi Plays Berkeley" concert film on DVD), but here are some recordings made during the afternoon soundcheck. Several of the songs here were not played during the 2 concerts.

Wow! Even in rehearsal Hendrix cuts through every other guitarist and lays some heavy riffs on the world. Keep it comin'!

Sweeeeet. I've always loved "Band of Gypsies" (I know it's not exactly the same line-up) and I have the Berkley video. I am a HUGE Hendrix collector (as well as Stones) and have basically everything ever released by Hendrix on vinyl in pristeen condition (some never played - still sealed).
I dig a LOT of those great '60s and 70's artists and enjoy the variety offered here instead of just the Stones, Stones, Stones.....
