Live in 1997?
Posted by: Culpa ()

Hi,

Could anyone point me to some good shows from 1997? Or maybe even post a little something? (Particularly the "Satisfaction" opening!)

Thanks in advance,

C

I've got very little from '97 so can't help much.

The Totonto rehearsals are nice snbd quality, 13 trax, the cd is called 'Closer than Close' on Sister Morphine.

There's also 13 trax from the gig they did @ the Double Door in Chicago, 18/9. Very good aud recording. Several pressings all with 'Double Door' in the title

One I haven't got (& am looking for) is the broadcast they did @ St Loius 12/12, that should be a nice one to get

Some of the Double Door releases are from an audience tape, but later audio ones are from a pro shot video. VGP 300 is the best. The St. Louis show is definitely one to get, and also San Diego from February 3, 1998 was broadcast on FM. Edmonton October 2, 1997 [from a video] is very nice, and there are some nice shows from the Euro leg of the tour in 1998, like Paris and Bremen [soundboards]. It's too bad we don't have such good quality stuff from the No Security tour.

"make up your mind, 'cause I gotta go"

Well a good proportion of the St.Louis concert on the 12th December was released on official Video + DVD.

Two performances from the show (not on the video/DVD) 'Corinna' and 'The Last Time' were released on 'No Security'

So only two songs not officially released from the concert

'Anybody Seen My Baby' and 'All About You'

The full show in soundboard quality is available on several boots.

You're a gentleman & a scholar Shade, many thx for this, I've got virtually nothing from this tour so this is a great help.

I notice there are 4 trax missing from the pic of the boot I'm looking at

Anybody seen my baby
Corrina
All about you
The Last Time

Any word on these?

I've just re-read the thread & notice I've got Corrina & The Last Time on No Security. Is there a kind soul who could post Anybody seen my baby & All about you from this show?

What I posted was ripped from the BTB DVD. As always with the stones, those tracks are on the cutting room floor.

Shade, your so kind, thank you very much.

Unfortunately "Sympathy", "Tumbling", "Start Me Up", "JJF", "YCAGWYW" and "Brown Sugar" have already expired. Please be so nice and repeat them. Thank you very much in advance.
