Post of the week!

What I love about these kinds of "mash ups" is that they're bound to confound future historians. They won't be able to tell what's real and what's not. I think that's how it should be. Keeps 'em guessing.

I've heard about all Gram Parsons, Always thought this was one of his best.

The original. I'm not sure which one I like more.

there are probably other versions.

"She made me feel unwanted like the bats and bears in Miller's cave", always loved that line.

Dylan had such great humour, some of these lines are great.

He saw an animal that liked to growl
Big furry paws and he liked to howl
Great big furry back and furry hair
"Ah, think I'll call it a bear".

He saw an animal up on a hill
Chewing up so much grass until she was filled
He saw milk coming out but he didn't know how
"Ah, think I'll call it a cow".

Typical Dylan songwriting though.

We talked about country music this week. But I don't think anyone should doubt, as to our friends in Europe, "We Love You", all that talk about country music got me into the mood for it...but just last week, we were in a discussion about some bands from the continent. This one from Focus is fine.

They being from Netherlands as was Golden Earring. It's good to hear you all in Europe discuss things, I absolutely love to watch Mirielle Mathieu sing, especially the La Marseillaise, this home computer is not that great, souped up as we would say but I was watching rock and roll clips from France the other day, lots of good stuff.

I could say a lot more but that's enough.

Most Christmas stories have the same ending moral,
it is the way different tales get there that is all the fun.

The one where Evans heads out of town for Christmas, but
then gets caught with a lil bit of snow in a couple of stash
places... get tossed in a Mexican jail, but PussPuss, of course,
saves the day by busting them out, hilarity ensues... and voila.... Christmas moral

This is alright, I guess some people had heard of them, I had not, Dutch band.. I mean people this is a global board... the chix may or may not have a Polish surname from the Wiki article. [en.wikipedia.org])

A broom wagon by the way is a vehicle used in bike races and sweeps up the lost riders and stuff like that.

Dutch show....

heard this charity ball was a good album... some of this groups songs were okay

Rock and ROll love letter is actually a good song, putting that one up.

I think this version is actually an updated version that one of the BCR players made some years after the band's hayday, I think it is Eric Faulkner's version.

This version actually does smoke.

BCR had a cool rocking presence taking into account this is bubble gum or pop or whatever, Stuart Wood looks a bit like Keith Richards to me. One of the Bay City Rollers

I'll just post the link.

Here's another

1st Image did not come out on posting this.

This is my rock 'n' roll love letter to you

Thank you, the wikipedia article reads:

"Pussycat was a Dutch country and pop music group from Brunssum, driven by the three Kowalczyk sisters: Tonny, Betty and Marianne.[1] Other members of the band were Lou Willé (Tonny's husband), Theo Wetzels, Theo Coumans and John Theunissen."

The link did not go right to the story. Sorry all.

[en.wikipedia.org])

Thank you for your response.

That last name looked Polish, all I was saying and they could be half any way or something

Live performance, 1978. This has almost a punk urgency, doesn't it? Punk influenced everybody. It really did.
