How many times HAS Ronnie been to rehab anyway? Seems like it would be tiresome. As in, gee, what a way to know I fu*cked up AGAIN.

Good on Ronnie and the very best of luck to him.

And to all the naysayers - quit running the guy down and give him a chance. As the saying goes, if at first you don't succeed, try, try again.... And that's exactly what he's doing. It's easy to talk but most of us fortunately don't have his battle to fight and probably have no clue as to how tough it must be.

Very well said.

I suppose Ronnie is lucky in one respect as alcoholics go.
As well as an obviously loving family, a lot of other folks have a vested interest in him being sober and functional. A lot of alcoholics don't have that when they fall or jump off the wagon...so there's nobody to shove them back on.

Wow, you seem angry. I asure that I wish for him a speedy recovery and that I would never ever try to make him drink.

I just asked a question and seemed to me that he had went on rehab before the Licks tour, and I don't remember if at that time everybody knew a tour was coming. Don't remember offending anybody or making fun at Ronnies alcohol problem.

I promise you I'll let the man recover in peace. Calm down.

The trouble with this whole Ronnie business at the moment we tend to accept and somehow like these stories which sadly enhance the Stones legacy and puts them firmly in the spotlight. I feel sorry for Ronnie but more so for his family and close friends the people who really care about him. Regretably Ronnie probably has no idea of the extent to which he is hurting his family I should know my brother died as a result of being an alcoholic. They will lie to you and disappear so they can down another bottle of vodka, it's really sad and is a terrible disease, I hope Ronnie gets well he has so much to look forward to in his life like touring with the faces and the stones and working on his paintings.

I hear Ronnie is being treated in The Priory.
Is this the same Priory that Brian Jones was treated in 1967/68?
