Has the Keith-interview been conducted or printed yet, Mickschix?

Hey there, Tippy. Give me the bad news first!! My email is mickschix2@aol.com and as far as the Keith interview goes, I left that job and so I lost touch with that particular magazine. To be honest, with Keith's physical and mental state these days, I decided not to contact the woman at the magazine. She did say that the interview was not dependent upon my working at that place. My concern is how I'd conduct the interview if Keith happened to be out of it. I should call her just to reconnect.

I'd be more concerned with the fact that Keith is still around to interview rather than his health!

I'll take the cue: he's old, he's tired, he's been ridden hard and put away wet a few million times.

Well George, I was working at a place where I had a chance to interview Keith for Westport Magazine; he LIVES in Weston, right next to Westport. I passed the first few tests with the magazine, I guess because I have a journalism degree and happen to know a bit about the Stones. Well, I left that job but still can contact the woman that I met with that would have set up the interview; I had a collegue who was set to accompany on the interview to take professional photos. Well, after I left that job, I knew I could still push ahead with the interview but after Keith's accident I know he is somewhat forgetful and I also read a pile of recent interviews and became worried about quite a few things. I did not feel so comfortable suddenly, putting myself into the position of being with Keith who may show up very looped, not coherent, or simply NOT in the MOOD to talk! If anyone has any thoughts on this, I'd love to hear it. Anyway, Jonathan, IS THAT YOU or NOT!? And if so, when are you going to deliver the BAD NEWS!??confused smileyhot smiley

Hell mickschix .. Keith has been involved in any number
of interviews since his little mishap and going by the words
ya read on the page and the visual interviews that float around
one could only say .... He's doin' real fine...

But then again if you feel uncomfortable there's always Pat Boone....

Is the suggestion that Keith has somehow entered the George Best (Irish footballer - deceased-after a long "fight with alcoholism") latter stage of life?
Don't think so, even with all the medical back up, support systems, associates etc on tour (and when not on tour). He would never manage to continue his phenomenal pace of life (now this IS getting tounge in cheek)

yawning smileycool smileyWell GOLLEEEE, Rockman, if you think that there would be NO STRESS and that the interview process would be a day at the beach, you can do it for me!! I am simply weighing the pros and cons and I would rather remember Keith as he was 20 years ago OR at least delude myself than to be so disappointed that it would stay with me as a negative experience forever. Now, of course, it COULD Be totally cool,& go perfectly but there's no guarantee. Call me chicken, but it's MY ASS on the line!

Hey Sicilian, every time I hear that song I think of Mick warming up before the '75 tour shows to that number!! I read in an interview long ago with Mick how he loved that song too and would often sing it to get his vocal chords loose before going on! I can see why with the falsetto!! Thanks!

Shirley Goodman with the sexy voice died in 2005 and the slick dude is Jason "Jesus" Alverez who is currently a preacher in Orange NJ.

What an era!

excellent plan! and/or i'll be more than happy to be involved.
one might say it's a Tribal Thing - if it's in the bones it's in the bones ...
and if it's not, finding another interviewer is a wise way to go.

I wish I could bring friends from this board, to help with the questions; I actually compiled a great list of potential questions from folks here after I asked what they's ask Keith. And Tippy, so sorry, I didn't know that was YOU! Yes, I've written back to you!! Still not sure what the bad news was....I'll ask you later! Rockman, you are funny! >grinning smiley<
