Is there a definitive list of countries which the Stones have NOT YET visited? (By country I would limit it to being a member of the United Nations). I assume Africa is relatively untouched, but there must be others, even in Europe, where the band have still to play.

I think that list like that might be useless, I don't think on the next tours Stones will be exploring new lands. But I would like them to play in Vatican smiling smiley

I'm guessing that Alaska remains untouched, though I can't say that with 100% certainty. Can anyone verify this?

Thanks stein for your prompt and detailed response. I think there are enough countries to keep the band busy for another 30 or so years. Some thoughts:
Cayman Islands - would have thought worth a visit given its status as one of the world's off-shore financial centres.
Jamacia -links for Keith since 1972, I believe now a holiday home for Marlon?
Leichenstein - as for the Cayman, also Prince Rupert territory.
Morocco - Brian Jones, etc.
Of course, it may be they have never sold any records in these places and couldn't even fill a club gig

I should like to see them play at Island, remember Led Zeppelin played there in the early 70s for about 1/2 of the whole population.

Maine and Rhode Island are two of them. I don't know if they played in Vermont. There are probably a few more.

Good, but not entirely correct list:

China
India
Korea

I know they have been to China and India briefly, but the market potential is big, very very big. For more shows. Big crowds. And they will do an Asia tour next time around. They can't ignore approx 50% of the entire population in the world.

A Jamaican concert would surely have an interesting track list with lots of local influence.

But Bahamas? Haven't they recorded there at some time?

Cuba would be great.
Half a million people at Plaza de la Revolución.

A free concert of course.

Cuba could happen, post Castro (Fidel, that is) and of course its home to one of my favourites- the Buena Vista Social Club. Perhaps Ry Cooder could join Keith on stage!!

Vote for Cuba also, even though other groups have played there this could be really groundbreaking

Costa Rica could also be great...
