2,000 is the Millennium, 00 or 10 the decade.

I would have opened one side with When The Whip Comes Down and the other side with Respectable or maybe even Shattered.

When referring to the events of 1066, I usually hear historians say "ten sixty six" not "one thousand sixty six"

In the U.S. the opener for Between the Buttons was LSTNT (not Yesterdays papers)
Although I have to add that PIB was the opener to Aftermath (in the US) which is a strong opener (nothing against Mothers little helper)
how about Great openers on a "lesser" record? I guess One Hit is the clear winner. I might have to put Love Is Strong as I am not a big fan of VL.
