Hey Voodoo,
You traveled south on Interstate 55, then east on
I-10 into New Orleans. I-55 runs between Lake Pontchartrain and Lake Maurepas. The Causeway I posted earlier
parallels I-55 about fifteen miles to the east,
so you would not have seen it.
Next time you travel on I-55, stop at Manchac (about halfway between Ponchatoula and LaPlace) and visit a place called Middendorf's. Very good seafood there.

Not sure that I'll ever get back to New Orleans Edith. I was completely disappointed with it. Course I only saw it during the day, but was aghast by it all. No offense.
