I dont like Bob's style or music too much - but i know a few of you do, so here's a link i found on Bob's art on the Sky site that may be of interest...
Seems to be a trend - this arty stuff with the musical minded....
Thanks for the link. I enjoyed looking at the 9 samples, and if I were in the country where the show is taking place, I'm sure that I would check it out.
I relate to a comment posted with Still Life with Peaches, the ninth and final artwork posted at the link:
"It's quite respectable, but he's a better musician than he is a painter. It doesn't have the genius of his other work."
Years and years ago, when Keith was on Rockline, I asked him if he ever draws and would he ever potentially do something with his art. And he said "Bob Dylan gave me a pencil the other day, so he's trying to get me back into it..."
I didn't realize when he said it that Bob also liked to draw.
Oh Bob Dylan has painted his own album covers - starting with Self Portrait in 1970. Which didn't look much like him...and the record didn't sound much like him, lol

he also painted the cover of The Band's "Music from Big Pink" a couple of years before that.
His artwork has appeared on the sleeves (usually reverse sleeves) of a few of his albums since then, although its on the front cover of Planet Waves. Plus he did publish a book of his lyrics and art called 'Writings and Drawings' around 1973 and in later years a self-explanatory book called 'Road Drawings'
