The new MOJO has a special guest editor: Tom Waits. He's written the editorial and personally done an interview with Hank Williams III, plus lots of other good stuff.

Not only is there a seriously good bonus CD;

but one of the two items featured in the "Buried Treasure" reviews is this:

(p.s. There is also a review of Stones In Exile - they give it 4 stars.)

Thanks Green Lady ... nice nod ta the Wingless album..

Interesting CD by Tom Waits and way-way cool ta see
Memphis street singers Blind Mamie Forehand and her husband A.C make
it on there with their stunningly beautiful Honey In The Rock from 1927....

wow thank you Green Lady for that very cool article on the Wingless Angels

"Contractually bound not to guest on more than two songs on any non-Stones record ... "

interesting - i gather it doesn't apply to (say) Alfie soundtracks, though?

ps: now that i think about it, it doesn't apply to Tom Waits or Dirty Strangers releases either
i guess it was either misinformation or just not a very scary part of the contract :E
