I think it's Mary Lou Reagan's book? Saw it for the first time in Hong Kong in November 2003. Mary Lou and I met Bill Clinton at the Grand Hyatt in the harbour.

There is a nice chapter about BV in it! (In Mary Lou Reagans book, that is. I understand there are a few books on "Stones fans" out there.)

oh look - this sounds familiar! [www.christies.com]

"Previously unpublished 8mm amateur colour film footage of The Rolling Stones performing at Madison Square Garden, New York on July 24, 25 and 26th, 1972; the silent footage on 3 reels, each approx. 26 mins. long (approx. 1hr 18 mins in total) in three cannisters numbered 1-3 represents a visual documentary of the event, shot by a fan Michael Geary from the first row of the auditorium; the footage is made-up of a series of close-ups of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Bill Wyman, Mick Taylor and to a lesser extent Charlie Watts and the interaction of the various band members on stage together; it captures Jagger's electrifying performance and several costume changes, and follows all three guitarists but in particular Taylor's and Richards' playing and at least four guitar changes; the final footage shot on Jagger's 30th birthday on July 26th documents the lead singer receiving a large birthday cake and champagne on stage and singing with opening artist Stevie Wonder and his band; accompanied by several documents concerning the provenance."

"three guitarists" - okay okay, so a bass is also a guitar ...

"estimate 10,000 - 15,000 U.S. dollars" - hm, wasn't the guy thinking he'd get a lot more than that, when he posted about it here??
