Do any Stones past or present have a signature guitar model?

..... ala Clapton, SRV, Vai, Dimebag Darryl, etc.

I just bought an Epiphone John Lennon acoustic (it's great, BTW) and wondered if Keith or any of the others had a signature model.

If not, why not? - a Tele with the hunbucker and 5-strings would be a natural.

Though not called the Keith Richards model by name, Fender Japan has had humbucker quipped '50s style Tele available for a few years that looks very much like Micawber. I keep hoping that Gibson will either do a Keith LP Custom or Sunburst LP model and while they're at it a Sunburst Mick Taylor model would be most welcome!

didn't Keith decline to authorize a signature Tele that Fender had planned?

I wonder if it had anything to do with the Pick Ups. As we know Keith uses Gibson PAF humbuckers(real one's last time I checked were about $1200 each) in the neck position of his Tele's. I personaly don't care for the Reissued ones. I also doubt Fender would use a Gibson product in their guitars.

That sounds about right, 50.

Apperently Keith doesn't want a signature guitar. He threatened the Fender custom shop with law suits if they went on with a copy of his '53 Tele, and Duesenberg released the 49 Keith Richards model, but after a month had to withdraw any reference to Keith. Zemaitis made a copy of the five string Zemaitis, and is not allowed to mention Keith's name.

Wood has signature ESP Tele's, Gibson J200 and a Versoul model.

They woudn't have to. There are many manufacturers of humbuckers and PAF clones other than Gibson. Seymour Duncan and Dimarzzio are but two examples.

Not a signature model for obvious reasons but some years ago they released what they called the Brian Jones teardrop vox guitar in Japan.

I believe they only came with the few guitars the Fender Custom Shop made.
