Very surprising that there's been no mention of the DumDum Boys... The guitarist has a history with a few parallels to KR. And he's brilliant. Both as a guitarist, a performer and a songwriter. If the DumDum Boys had not written in Norwegian, they'd have been known world wide. But it's kind of cool that they've insisted on performing their songs in Norwegian, though.

[dumdumboys.no]

Go to "diskografi, and find the song "SPLITTER PINE". You won't regret it.

... and another typical 70's group with great musicians: Made in Sweden.

Does anyone recognize the guitar player? Was in the 70's member of the American group Blood Sweat & Tears and toured in the 90's with Steey Dan.

I suggest you try with DIAMOND DOGS.

They got it all, they are swedish and their soud is heavily influenced by the Stones and, most of all, by the Faces, as they claim theirselves. And heavily means HEAVILY!

Their best album is called "Too much is always better than not enough", but all of them are very enjoyable.

As a live act, they always deliver tons of fun and one Stones cover, or two in the same night if that's the case. As a matter of fact I saw them myself playing a cover of Dead Flowers and fragmets of Bitch and Let It Bleed in the same gig.

If you guys don't know them, check'em out. They are worth the effort:

If anyone finds themself in scandiland this summer, Turbonegro will play the entire 'Apocalypse (spell) Dudes' album at the Oya (Øya) festival. Last I heard was that they haven't decided which of the days yet.

When it comes to Gasolin it's got to be:

Rabalderstræde or in English:

What a Lemon
Both live and the last one with bad sound but what ever.

Same county, other direction. Resident Evil, so to speak.
Perhaps we could drink a toast at Skule. Ya use to go to Urkult
(not me, but everyone can always "change foot" all of a sudden)?
