Take it from a Londoner that uses Heathrow A LOT. NO WAY (I repeat ... NO WAY) do you want to leave it quite that late. Planes can be late - and in fact they very often are coming into Heathrow because they get put into a holding pattern before being given a landing slot, baggage handling at Heathrow is the pits and is by no means the fastest, queues at immigration are the longest I've ever seen them (you even have queues these days at the UK/EU desks), the Tube and the Heathrow Express can never unfortunately be relied up on 100 percent to be free of engineering works or delays of some sort. Take an earlier flight !!

think the fastest way is to write a note and put it in a bottle and put it in the sea and hope it arrives in the uk... ticketbastard uk is very slow... you can always get them at the box office on the day of the show if you havent got your tix at that time.. just take your credit card, passport and conformation email with you...

So far we have only 21st August tickets. Others are yet to arrive. On the end I have to say that the tickets are mailed to late compare to Germany. But Ticketmaster was very helpful last year and they even credited all mailing costs, though some of the tickets arrived by mail.

Definitely check this out, and also Eurostar too. That arrives at Waterloo which is is about 20 minutes from the O2 by the underground. Either option is much better than Heathrow for this venue. Obviously it depends where you're arriving from!

as the Stones will probably be onstage around 8.30 pm, you'll be lucky if youve even got your luggage by then
phd also look at flying to Stansted if you cant get flights to London City.
There is a Bus service from the airport that will take you to within a couple of stops away from the O2, I believe it runs 24 hrs, someone put up details on another thread if you need them I will go hunt them out for you.
Yes..as I recall theres a bus (A9 was it?) which goes straight to Stratford station in about 45 mins, which is just a couple of stops away from the 02.
probably less hassle than getting the train to Liverpool Street and then getting the Tube/DLR to the 02, with a couple of changes
Coming from paris, you really need to get the eurostar, or an air france / british airways flight into London City airport. The eurostar arrives at waterloo station and from there you can get onto the jubilee line, and you are ONLY FOUR stops away from the O2 arena. Or, you can walk down to waterloo pier and get a thames clipper boat, £4 each way. This is by far the most enjoyable way to do it.
Of course you can use heathrow, stansted, if you want, but coming from paris you have two very easy options with the eurostar and city airport, so you may as well take advantage of them.
British airways stopped flying to paris from both London Gatwick and London city airport in early 2004, so the only airline flying from paris to London City airport is AIR FRANCE now
Back to the original subject of tickets getting mailed out ... there appears to be a postal strike on in the UK at the moment. I THINK they're striking on different days in different parts of the country over a period of several (if not MANY) days, here in London I didn't see my postman over Thursday/Friday/Saturday of this week currently ending. Don't know if or how the strike is affecting stuff getting sent out overseas, I guess it could be ?
