Actually they made a couple of tv specials. I've seen another one which I think is from the time when Gas V was released. Was based on a story about the band mistook Hollerup(Small Danish town in Sealand, I believe) with Hollywood.

DR also showed the recent Anders Østergård documentary on the band. Maybe you can find that one too on the website.

You can't. It's an unique Danish word actually 'invented' by the band, well Mogens Mogensen in particular. At least that's how I heard the story.

Say Baboon Bro. Have you ever read the Gasolin' bio Peder Bundgaard(The guy who did a couple of their album sleeves) wrote. He also wrote a book called 'Lykkens Pamfil', which is his take on Danish music from late fifties to the end of the seventies. Some about Røde Mor, Savage Rose and others. Also the story behind Christinia and Thy Lejren. Quite enjoyable if you ask me.

I know exactly how you feel - listened to nothing else for a week. Today is the first day in ten days she has not been on - but the day/night ain't finished yet!

Nah, havent. Read some rip-offs thou. Made a two-piece Gas show
for the radio station seven years ago. Maybe ya could get that book at yer local
library and read it out for me loud in the car ? Or just for me to read
at spare moments.
