I suspect they're maybe wanting to time the announcement of the third show in with some other promotional activity at some point.

I think he was told to remove it as it is supposed to be a secret.
There are still tickets £100 and £150 floating about for the 21st and 23rd on lastminute.com .
They want to off load them first that is all.

No. It means Chuck jumped the gun and put out information which isnt supposed to be made public yet because the show is officially unconfirmed - and either noticed this oversight or (more likely) was told by someone in the band's management of his faux pas.
It's removal has got absolutely NOTHING to do with whether or not there will be a 3rd show.
