chrismusic, don't be jealous... The Stones played in front of 2,200,000 people in North America during ABB tour, doing 80 gigs. Don't be so voracious!

This is the last really big tour with the outrageous stages and it seems only fitting they wrap it all up in Europe where they toured long before they ever hopped the pond and became American Idols-HA, HA, HA.

I saw my last US show at the famed Churchill Downs. I think I'll let that be my last memory of a Stones show in America.

Just travel to Europe, I am! All the way from Hawaii, which is more like China rather than the States...

The Europeans travel to the states to see the Stones so it's only fair we pay visit to their homeland during Stones tours there. It helps build strong international relationships.

Perhaps there will be a U.S. tour in 2010?

Though the original poster was "just kidding" when he asked why the Stones won't be playing the US for a third straight year, it's really not an unreasonable request, and it has happened before: '64, '65, and '66; and '97, '98, and '99.

YO NumberoneStones fan...Aloha...I am from Hawaii also and plan to do Belgrade thru Saint Petersburg, and trying to find a decent price in and out of Europe, without luck I may add, in that time frame. How do you plan to get there?

If they play the States in 2008 I do hope they have the good sense to make it a very special tour of reasonably sized areas in middle American cities with decent ticket prices that cause sellouts across the board.

I also hope they get back to playing the blues a bit more-God I think I've been reading too many posts on Shidoobee.

Anyway, I thought Charlie said this was the last tour or will ABB be going for many years to come?
