OT : POLICE Paris SDF concert sold out in 1h30

Paris. The 79,000 tickets for the Paris concert of reunited rock group The Police sold out in just an hour and a half on Wednesday.
The group's Paris concert is being held at the Stade de France football stadium on September 29 asb part of an international reunion tour to mark their 30th anniversary, one of the music world's most eagerly anticipated comebacks.

Had to buy my tix elsewhere, just couldn't get through.
There may be a second concert on Sunday the 30th (wont try for the second one though, once is more than enough)

only 30.000 tickets were sold !!
They are doing the same things as they did with U2. The other 40.000 are booked for special packages, travel tour, other countries and some tix will be sold in late september as they did for U2 !
I surely prefer the way the Stones are doing

At 10.00 am in the ticketnet netware there were no Golden Category available. I saw that on the screen of the computer of the Virgin Store.
They are doing the same things as they did with U2. The other 40.000 are booked for special packages, travel tour, other countries and some tix will be sold in late september as they did for U2 !

The Stones sold out 360,000 (that's 360,000!!) seats at New York's Shea Stadium - 6 shows - when they finally re-grouped in 1989. And everywhere else.
Right now the Stones are OVERSATURATED and will sell out zero stadiums.

Antwerp sold out in an hour. It's just an arena gig of course. But, judging from the fast sales, they are the hottest band this summer. No question about it
