Tickets for my first Stones show ('75 Tour of the Americas, Greensboro, NC), were $8.50.
I remember seeing George Harrison during his '74 tour, the tickets were $9.50, and all of us were OUTRAGED. The NERVE!! It was like, "Oh, I'll PAY it, it's George Harrison...but nine fifty? Jeez....." Most early to mid 70s shows were about five bucks.
My, how times have changed.
I'm still getting over t-shirts at shows being priced at $40.00. Ridiculous.

When I paid $160 to see the Stones in 2005 in Philadelphia, I bought a beer for $7.50...
And then I realized: $7.50 was the cost of the ticket to see the Rolling Stones across the street at the Spectrum 36 years earlier.
