LONDON Ronnie Wood, left, the Rolling Stones guitarist and legendary hellraiser, has signed up to become the band leader at the first Rock’n’Roll Fantasy Camp in Britain.
The camp, details of which were revealed in The Times, allows middle-aged rockers to eat, drink and play alongside their music idols.
The five-day camp, in May, costs £9,000 and includes gigs at Abbey Road, and the Cavern Club in Liverpool. Members of Cream, Procol Harum and Black Sabbath will also take part.
Ronnie gave a small number of some kinda stand-up, guitar lecture type shows in the US back in the late 80's early 90's??....If my memory serves me well one article mentioned that Ronnie spent most of the time tellin' jokes...

yes, and with the terrible exchange rate, that's almost $18,000 USD. now if mick and keith were there, it might be worth it...but not for ronnie...sorry ron...
Great for Ronnie. Sharing his incredible talents with the youth of the world (okay it maybe the wealthier ones). I bet he is looking forward to something different and collaborating with others. You may know the saying- 'busy hands are happy hands...'.
Maybe he is just warming up for the tour (hopeful thinking).
