This really belongs in OT Dylan and may already be in it, but if you haven't seen it you might enjoy this May 2021 Harpers Magazine article I just stumbled across and read yesterday. We unexpectedly now know who this woman was, in this great song from my favorite Dylan album. And the backstory to their relationship as well.

Cheapest ticket I've heard of in years! It seems tickets to everything, even small venues with lesser known acts, are at least $30 these days after fees.

No kidding. Each ticket was less than $28 after fees. Still more than the only other time I've seen Steve Miller. In the 1990s, I saw Tom Petty at Starwood (Nashville) and they gave out free Steve Miller tickets for that same week. Good times.

Remember: The first week of every May (except during Covid) LiveNation sells select concert tickets for $25 total (used to be $20). Be ready!

Crowded House on May 3. Finally! This show is a make up from the tour that got postponed. Neil Finn has been a favorite for about 40 years.

Just got home from seeing the Righteous Brothers tonight in Dearborn, Michigan. Great show, much better than I expected, and I expected it to be good. It was, however, without a doubt, the oldest audience I have ever been a part of. The comedian who opened for them had a good line about that. She said, "My great grandparents were married for seventy-four years! A lot of people don't even live to be seventy-four, but I can see that almost everyone here did."
