Please drop me an e-mail, you have my address. A friend of mine is enquiring, I don't have any spares, but if yours are still available he'll take one - and I can always ask him if he wants both.

Back in December, for the Yardbirds gig, at York House, there were people, hanging around outside, trying to offload they're spares...i think its safe to assume, that the same will happen again,
and as sunday's show is a sellout, those lovely tout chaps,
will also be sniffing around.

important info for anyone travelling to the Art Wood show,
from Central London:-

there are going to be engineering works, on South West Trains,
between Clapham Junction & Twickenham, on sunday.

A bus replacement service will be in operation.

So, if you're staying in the centre of town, for the show, leave loads of extra time to get to Twickenham.
My strong advice, would be to avoid SWT's altogether,
and take the District Line Underground, all the way to Richmond, and then bus or walk it, from there.

...you've been warned!

Boat?

You might have to scrape me off the floor at the end of the tour, but it'll be really good scrapings. - Mick Jagger

The following is some help from Paulywaul. What a kind chap!

The purple line I've drawn on there indicates what is known as the SW Trains Richmond LOOP, and it is worth checking with SW Trains exactly where these engineering works are taking place and HOW one gets from central London (Waterloo) to Twickenham station. Trains run on that loop both clockwise and anti-clockwise so to say, so maybe only part of that line is down and it still might be possible to get to Twickenham station from Waterloo ?

Enginering works are between Clapham Jnct. and Twickenham
there's a bus replacement service, between these 2 locations.

Looking at the map above and the one that Beast provided a link to, I think it may be possible to do the journey from central london without using a bus. Take the tube using the district line to Wimbledon. Then change and get an overland train from wimbledon to twickenham, via kingston.

they were bloody good, actually.
played everything you'd want /expect them to, incl.
Mick Avory, doing his 'Ringo', and singing 'Dedicated Follower Of Fashion'.

asked around, regarding any spares for sunday,
but they are like gold-dust.

b.t.w - if anyone is looking for a face value ticket,
for The Who @ The Albert Hall, on sat. 31st... let me know. smiling smiley

Crawdaddy...worth your while phoning or going to the RAH on the morning of the 31st as they always have an allocation of tickets available for sale on the day of the event. A quirk of the venue. (they have to, for some reason which escapes me now)

Hope the ticket is still available.I know it is at the back of the hall, but anywhere there to see the Who is great for me.I know you two guys are going to Art Woods' tribute on Sunday ,so see you there. Will probably pop into the Cabbage Patch first and then the pub near York house ,the name I can't remember.I know one of you lives in Kingston which is where I'm living at the moment.See you Sunday.
