please remember the legacy is in danger if you make to many people full stones,
this is very important to the history of the band, it is arguably in danger as it stands right now so lets not push it

i totally disagree, no way they should make anyone other than Ronnie a real Stone... Darryl is just hired help sorry...

if anyone maybe Bobby Keys but that would never work either...he's just hired help too...

Bobby also hasn't played on a studio album since EMOTIONAL RESCUE. It would be a bit strange to honor him as a bandmember when not every song or even album even has saxophone and when it does they frequently use someone else.

Terry, and everyone else, okay, so he doesn't sway and jam around on the bass, like we apperantly would like to see, and so he doesn't even run around on the stage -neither did Bill Wyman, and he's not British, and he's not an original member....., But, what is most important here, ladies and gentlemen, IS THAT IT SEEMS THE OTHER THREE ACTUALLY LIKE HAVING HIM THERE, FOR WHATEVER REASONS. And since it looks like he's good enough for Mick, Keef and Chuck, and maybe, just maybe he's a part of the reason the're still up there under the lights, I just love him. He keeps the beat, doesn't take any thunder from Mick and Keef and he seems like a very cool dude.

Ironically the Stones former bassist (BW) stood up for Ronnie. Surprisingly RW was not financially an equal member until 89/90. In the book ACCORDING TO THE ROLLING STONES, RW gives BW all the credit. If I remember correctly BW and Charlie were ready to take a stand if necessary before the Urban Jungle tour.

I hope Darryl's not holding his breath.

One difference between Ron & Darryl's contribution is that (even though he was not always officially credited) Ron is sort of a co-writer of the music. I don't know if DJ contributes to that degree.

I just double checked ACCORDING TO THE ROLLING STONES....the info about BW & charlie standing up for ROn is on page 257.
